Why The UFO Cover-up
Ok! The question is why are "THEY" covering up the tact that UFOs are real. If they are ETVs, (ExtraTerrestrial vehicles) as most people believe, then why have we not been told? Personally, I can think of no valid reason for this. If I was an regular investigator researching a regular crime, I would be trying to find out who would benefit from the crime to discover likely suspects. This would lead to a list of suspects which could be looked at carefully until some evidence surfaced indicating who might be responsible. This is often referred to as, following the money, but there are other benefits that can be followed. Tax breaks, government contracts, benefit in kind of all sorts and someone owing you a favor etc.
One reason that was once commonly given was the likelihood that the general public would panic at the thought that there might be non-human or even humanoid life visiting our planet from somewhere else. Some weight was given to this argument when Orson Wells made his now famous radio broadcast, "The War Of The Worlds", which did panic large numbers of the public who turned on their radios in the middle of the show and did not realize that the events being portrayed were fictitious.
The War of the Worlds was broadcast October 30, 1938. People are very different now. It is unlikely that anyone would be fooled by such a broadcast today. Also the show portrayed the martians as violent and belligerent and was about them taking over the Earth and attempting to exterminate humans. There is no evidence so far that ETs are from Mars or that they are trying to exterminate the human race. Given this it is likely that most humans would calmly accept alien races on earth. I believe that a majority of people on Earth already believe that they are here and have been for some time.
The very fact the they are here (if they are) is evidence of their vastly superior technology. There is probably very little that we could do to resist a take-over if they were planning one, so why have they not done so? Because they are not interested in that and have no intention of doing it.
Okay, look at it this way.
1. If they are here to take over the world, we need to fight for our planet. The governments can not do that without telling the people, can they? No, after all we are the ones that will do the real fighting while they direct operations from behind their desks. So why not tell us?
2. If they are friendly, there is nothing to fear, so why not tell us?
3. There may be a third possibility. What it is I do not know. I am just giving the governments the benefit of the doubt.
