What is a UFO cover-up?
The UFO cover-up refers to the fact that the governments of the world and the U.S. in particular are covering up evidence that there are extraterrestrials visiting our planet. An extraterrestrial (ET) is a being from somewhere other than Earth. This cover-up allegation is most often focused on the air force, probably since they appear to be the government body who seem to come into contact with extraterrestrials most often.
A classic example of this cover-up exercise is the Roswell Incident. This is a now famous incident where something crashed and the scene was immediately taken over by the air force and there was an information blackout until an announcement by the air force that a weather balloon had come down.
Is There a Ufo Cover-up?
There is some disagreement about the existence of a cover-up. Believers say that because there is no proof and no information coming from government agencies, that there must be a cover-up campaign being run by the government and other organisations. The non-believers and those said to be involved in the cover-up say that there is no cover-up and that there is nothing to cover up.
That without mention of all the witnesses and government employees and military that are said to have been silenced and or threatened. This is only scratching the surface of the cover-up story. It is said that the civilian government of the US and other countries do not know about the cover-up or what is being covered up. They are said to be just as much in the dark as the rest of us. The reason being that those "running the show" deem it to be too great a risk, revealing the information to an elected politician. he could be voted out of office at the next election and feel under no obligation to keep the secrets that he knows.
